1.1 Classifi cation of safety
instructions and Warnings
Safety and warning signs indicate situations
in which personal injuries or property damage
may occur and provide measures to prevent
this danger.
The safety alert sign
WARNING or CAUTION and text on a grey
background warn of the risk of potential injury
risks. Follow all measures that are marked with
this safety alert sign to prevent injury or death.
WARNING
indicates a moderate-risk hazard which may
result in death or serious bodily injury.
CAUTION
indicates a low-risk hazard which may result
in mild or moderate bodily injury.
Note
indicates information for the effective operation
of the machine without risk of danger.

1.2 General safety instructions
Before initial start-up, operation,
and maintenance of the machine,
read the operating manual and keep
it for later use or for passing on to
any subsequent users.

Wear protective gloves when
removing blockages.
Risk of injury during intake
Do not go near the rollers with long
hair, loose clothing, ties, scarves,
necklaces, bracelets etc. Do not
destroy any material that might get
tangled, such as tapes, binder ties
plastic or foil.

Use the machine for its intended purpose
only and in perfect technical condition in
compliance with the operating manual.
•
The machine may not be used by persons
(including children under 16 years of age)
with limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or with a lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are supervised by
a responsible person.
•
When the machine is not in use, it must
be shut down and secured against unau-
thorised use. To do so, you can secure the
mains switch with a padlock when it is in
the off position.
•
Shut down the machine immediately if you
notice any safety measures that are not in
place.
