4 To close the calculations menu, tap Back.
Tapping Back will not save your calculation.

Cardiac calculations

To measure LVd and LVs
1 On a frozen 2D image or M Mode trace, tap Calcs.
2 From the calculations menu, tap EF.
3 From the EF menu, select LVd or LVs.
4 Repeat the following for each measurement you want to take.
a From the LVd or LVs menu, select the measurement you want to take.
b Position the calipers.
c Tap Save Calc.
A check mark appears next to the saved measurement.
5 To save a picture of the finished calculation, tap
6 Tap Back to exit the calculation.
To measure Ao, LA, AAo, or LVOT D
1 On a frozen 2D image or M Mode trace, tap Calcs.
2 From the calculations menu, tap Ao/LA.
3 From the Ao/LA menu, select the measurement you want to take.
4 Position the calipers by dragging.
5 Tap Save Calcs.
6 To save a picture of the finished calculation, tap
7 Tap Back to exit the calculation.
To measure TAPSE
1 On a frozen M Mode trace, tap Calcs.
2 In the calculations menu, tap TAPSE.
3 Position the calipers by dragging.
4 Tap Save Calcs.
5 To save a picture of the finished calculation, tap
6 Tap Back to exit the calculation.
