Motor protection
See Figure 4. This side channel fan vacuum cleaner is equipped with
motor protection that turns the fan off if the motor temperature reaches
110°C/230°F.
NOTE! 3kW motors do not have a ball bearing temperature sensor.

Installation
WARNING!
Risk of personal injury.
•
Mount non-mobile vacuum cleaners firmly to a hard flat surface.
•
Do not place vacuum cleaner on an uneven surface.
•
Work with electric equipment is to be carried out by a qualified electrician.
CAUTION!
Risk of equipment damage.
•
Only connect a vacuum cleaner with a 3-phase motor to a grounded power
socket that has the same voltage as that listed on the vacuum cleaner's
nameplate.
•
Make sure hoses are properly grounded when connected, see Figure 8.
•
Ensure that the impeller rotates freely.
•
Protect the fan from moisture, and do not store it outdoors unprotected.

Delivery check
Check the unit for any transport damage. In case of damage or missing parts,
notify the carrier and your local Nederman representative immediately.
5.2
Check the direction of rotation
Start the fan briefly, check the direction of rotation. Impeller rotation must
match the arrow on the fan housing. If it does not, turn the start button back
to zero. Allow the motor to stop and then start the fan again turning the start
button in the other direction.
