1. Get started
1.
Select the luminares for which you want to use
the LivingWhites Energy Saver. The luminares
should have either an E27 or B22 cap, depending
on the starter set version you bought. The
luminaire should not be connected to a wall
dimmer.
2.
Switch off the power of the selected luminaires,
install the LivingWhites Energy Saver and switch
on the power again. The lamp will switch on.
3.
Open the battery compartment of the remote
control by sliding the button at the back. Insert
the three AAA batteries (+ and – as indicated)
included in the package.
You can now control the LivingWhites Energy Savers
with the remote control.
2. Creating your personal ambience with
dimmable light
You can create your own ambience by:
1.
Using the dim wheel. You can move your finger
across the wheel to adjust the light level (drawing
II).
2.
Pre-settings. Touch one of the three buttons on
the bottom (drawing II) to start one of the three
pre-settings. The first one will provide 30% of the
full light output, the second one 70% and third
one, 100%.
3.
Personal setting. Creating your own personal
setting by selecting the lamp (drawing IV), as
explained in the section "Create lighting scenes".
4.
Switch the lamps off (press "0"). All the linked
LivingWhites lamps will slowly dim the light level
until they switch off in 12 seconds. This gives you
time to leave the room. If you press "0" again, the
lamps switch off immediately. You can switch all
lamps on again by pressing "I".
3. Select and adjust individual lamps
(drawing of the remote control pointed at the luminaire
with lamp)
You can control all lamps at the same time or control
each lamp individually.
In order to control a lamp, you need to select it.
You can select the lamp by touching the wor buttons
on the remote control. When selected, the lamp will
flash and the light bulb indicator will light up. This means
you can now adjust this lamp only, instead of all lamps.
For example, you can dim it or switch it on or off as
described above.
4. Create lighting scenes
If you would like to store one of your personal settings
for easy recall, press and hold one of the Scene buttons
(drawing IV), until the remote control makes a sound.
Your scene is now stored under the number you have
pressed.
You can continue adjusting the lamps as you wish.
Whenever you want to go back to your stored scene,
just press the button you pressed when storing it (for
example, ':'). The ':' indicator will light up briefly to show
that the scene is selected, and the lamps will go to your
stored settings (drawing II).
You can store up to three scenes (one for each Scene
button).
