• Observe the general safety notes for
operating electrical tools!
• Chase and drill may accidentally be
catapulted out of the tool and cause
serious injuries.
• Before starting work, check to make
sure that the chase or drill bit is
locked into the tool.
• Check the tool holder regularly for
wear or damages.
• A hammer tool should only be started
when it is pressed up against a work
piece (wall, ceiling, etc.).
• After completing work, unplug the
hammer drill from the power and
remove the chase/drill bit from the
tool.
• Before changing a chase or drill bit,
unplug the hammer drill from the
power source.
• Protect your eyes and those of your
staff from flying elements and
splintering foreign bodies. Wear a
helmet! Set up a partitioning wall!
• Protective gloves will protect your
fingers from bruising and grazing.
• Vibrations may cause damage to your
hands/arms: Try to keep the influence
of vibrations as low as possible.
• Make sure that power cables always
lead away from the rear of the device.
• Store the device away from children.
• When operating the machine, always
hold it with both hands and ensure
that you are standing firmly.

ensure that the unit is set to the
correct switch setting for the work
you wish to carry out. Otherwise there
is a risk of injuries when the machine
is started.
Store the safety notes in a safe place.
7 – Installation and setting
Changing a tool (Figure 4+5)
CAUTION! Unplug from the
power source!

down to the stop: The tool will slide into
the accommodation shaft.
Release the holder - it must return to
the starting position.

Push the holder back, pull the tool out
of the chuck.
Mounting the additional handle
(Figure 7)
The additional handle (10) can be
mounted on the right or the left of the
chuck, as required. Release the handle
piece (2) of the additional handle by
turning to the left until it can be pushed
over the chuck (1) and onto the
tensioning neck (8). The holder cams on
the underside of the tensioning neck (a)
must fit into the holder grooves (b) of
the tensioning ring. This allows you to
select a comfortable working position
