2.1 Important warnings
Read carefully this section's instruction which are very important for use, maintenance
•
and appliance safety. This handbook must be ridden and study in all parts, otherwise it
will be consider as " Improper Use " and a not correct employ of the Lincar equipment.
Attention ! The warranty is out of validity if the ordinary or extraordinary maintenance
•
operations are not executed or it are executed partially.
To take care of this handbook to use it every time it's necessary.
•
The appliance illustrated in this handbook must be employed only from qualify staff.
•
The appliance must be employed only for a professional cooking: other use would be
•
improper therefore dangerous.
The appliance functioning, create high temperature on some internal and external
•
surfaces, with which user could get in touch so it's necessary the highest attention!
The operation of the machine must always happen under surveillance.
•
Don't wash the appliance with direct or high pressure jets of water.
•
To disconnect the appliance in case of breakdown or bad functioning, closing the general
•
gas cock and disconnect it from electrical system.
Every maintenance operation, every repairs or substitution, must be done from qualify
•
staff or assistance centre. Use only original spare parts.
These instructions are valid only for the country whose abbreviations appear on the
•
appliance rating plate. Non-compliance with the instructions contained in this manual
may jeopardise appliance safety.
Do not obstruct air vents or heat dissipation openings.
•
2.2 Starting up
Before starting up the appliance for the first time, unpack it and carefully remove all the
•
grease that protects the grid, following this procedure:
a)
Use a liquid detergent to clean the grid;
b)
Rinse with plenty of clean water.
Check that the volcanic rock is properly positioned on the support grid.
•
Check that no obstacle inside the appliance obstructs the air flow required for
•
combustion and check that the premises are sufficiently ventilated.
Check the efficiency of the devices for evacuating cooking fumes (extraction hood,
•
discharge collector, etc).
Before starting up the appliance, pour a little water into the grease drip tray. This will
•
make cleaning easier.
Use gloves to work on the appliance.
•
Open main gas tap upstream of appliance.
•
For Ignition: to push the knob corresponding to the selected burner, turn it anticlockwise
•
on position On (Spy Position–Symbol: Little Star), press the piezoelectric button
repeatedly and verify, through the inspection hole on dashboard, that the pilot spy lights
up. Hold pressed the knob for 10 seconds to allow the safety device intervention than
release the knob; the spy must keep lighted on the contrary repeat this operation.
