HOW TO CHARGE THE
BATTERY
Insert the plug into the electrical
socket. The red pilot lamp on
the power supply base will light
up
; let the battery charge
for about 12-15 hours. In the
meantime, you can make coffee.
Attention: The electronic system
is powered for about 6 months by
an internal, self-charging battery
that keeps the set programmes
memorised even if the espresso
maker is not used.
Attention: When the espresso maker
is connected to the electrical socket,
the back-lighting on the display
stays on for a short time. The back-
lighting also turns on and stays on
for a short time when any button is
pushed.
• The unit displays the time even
when it is not connected to the
electrical socket. Under normal
conditions, the display shows
the time
and the word
CLOCK (
).

• You can set the local time before
using the espresso maker.

HOW TO SET THE TIME

• Press the PROGRAM
for 2 seconds: the power supply
base BEEP briefly, the word
CLOCK (
) flashes, and time
CLOCK
setting mode is ON.
• Press the "+" , button once to
increase the minutes. If the "+"
button is kept pressed for 2 seconds,
the minutes advance rapidly. The
minutes go from 00 to 59, after
which the hours increase.
• Press the "–"
button to
decrease the minutes or hours
with the same method as the "+"
button.
• You can confirm the set time in
two ways:

- press the ON/OFF
button: the display returns to
normal clock mode and shows the
set time;
- do not press any button for 5
sec: the new setting is considered
confirmed and the display returns
to normal clock mode.
HOW TO USE YOUR ELECTRIC
ESPRESSO MAKER
Attention: The power supply base
must ALWAYS be placed on a stable
and level surface.
• Although the espresso maker
works in any position, we advise
you to place it so that you can
see the red pilot lamp on the base
of the espresso maker
operation and that the jet of
steam faces away from you.
• Manually unwind the cable from
the cable winder and adjust it to
the length needed to reach the
electrical socket. (fig. 2)

Do not let the cable hang over
