Cleaning

Use a damp cloth and mild household cleaning agent to clean
the instrument should it become soiled through daily use. Never
use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents to clean the instru-
ment.
WARNING
Ensure that no voltage over 300 V is applied to the
test leads, even when the display could show this, it
may cause damage to the electronics.

Changing the batteries

Change the battery when the battery symbol is displayed. Re-
move the test leads from the measuring instrument before
changing the batteries!
Use only batteries of the specified type.
Do not dispose of batteries in normal household rub-
bish! Use an authorised local collection point!
Remove the screws on the rear of the device, remove the cover
and replace the used batteries.
Make sure the batteries are inserted the right way round. Re-
place battery compartment cover and screw tight.
