ADJUSTMENT FOR GANG CUTS
To use the saw for gang cutting, loosen the
angle-of-attack lever and raise the saw 5° to
keep the bottom of the guide bar/saw chain in
the previous beam when you start cutting into

ADJUSTMENT FOR BEVEL CUTS
1. Disconnect the plug the from the power
source.
2. Loosen the anti-splinter guard-plate lever
and push the plate away from the guide
bar.
3. Adjust the foot from 0° to 60° by loosening
the bevel-adjustment lever at the front.
4. Align the desired angle on the calibrated
quadrant and then tighten the front bevel
lever.
5. Push the anti-splinter plate against the
guide bar.
6. Tighten the anti-splinter-guard-plate lever
with the plate positioned against the guide
bar.
Because of the increased chain engagement
in the work and decreased stability of the
foot during bevel cutting, chain binding may
occur. Keep the saw steady and the foot
firmly on the workpiece.
