Do not attempt to hold the saw with one hand only.

Chain brake
The chain brake is released, e.g. by a kickback over the
hand guard (chain brake lever). The saw chain stops
abruptly.

Extensive working can result in disturbances
to circulatory pressure or the nervous systems
to the fingers, hands or wrist joints due to
vibrations.
Falling asleep of body parts, twinges, pains or skin
changes can appear. Upon appearance of such signs,
allow yourself to be examined medically!
Safety lock
The safety lock prevents accidental engine acceleration.
The gas lever can only be operated if the safety lock is
pressed inward.
