Safety Functions / Error Messages
The light has built-in safety features to prevent
damage to the user and the light, as well as latency
after power failures.
Protection Against Overheating
In the event of overheating, the light switches to an
emergency lighting mode with a maximum of 40 klx.
The two uppermost indicator lamps on the handle
flash. In the event of temperatures exceeding 80 °C at
the heat sink, the light automatically switches off the
supply voltage and can only be switched on again
when the temperature falls below 50 °C.
Undervoltage
In the event of undervoltage, the light will turn off. All
indication lights on the handle flash. If it was on
before, the light will return to its previous state once
the failure is over.
Power Outage
In the event of power failure, the light will turn off. If it
was on, the light will return to the previous state
(brightness, mode) once the failure is over.
Self-test
The light performs a self-test in the background at
regular intervals. If the self-test detects a serious
electrical defect, the light is set to a permanent fault
state for the protection of the user. All indication lights
on the handle flash 5 times when the stand-by button
is pressed. In this case, please send the light in for
repair!
