5 Installation

The installation instructions indicated in this manual
must be applied to guarantee the machine safety.

5.1 Transport

The centrifuge comes with four lifting supports, for positioning the unit.
Note that the unit weights 429 Kg.

5.2 Location

Place the centrifuge on an horizontal flat and stable surface.
The surface must allow adherence of the centrifuge legs.
This equipment can cause vibrations affecting other nearby equipments.
Extreme conditions of temperature, humidity and contamination could
negatively affect the machine security. Avoid direct exhibition to sunlight.
For normal operation, ambient working temperature should be between
10ºC and 40ºC, with a maximum humidity level of 80%.
Do not install the centrifuge in areas where flammable liquids are stored
or special protection areas.
Leave a free space of 30 cm around the centrifuge to permit refrigeration
of the equipment. This area is called SAFETY ZONE

Leave a free space of 30cm around the centrifuge.
With the centrifuge operating:
• Do not place hazardous substances in the safety zone.
• Personnel must be outside the safety zone.
DO NOT INSTALL THE EQUIPMENT IN EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERES OR
WHERE SOLVENTS, OR OTHER PRODUCTS THAT MAY FORM EXPLOSIVE
OR FLAMMABLE MIXTURES, ARE USED OR STORED.
Do not use the centrifuge:
If the speed reading (RPM) never reaches stabilization.
(in this case, actual speed could be very different from that indicated)
