MIDI SETTINGS
Not supported.
VIDEO SETTINGS
Used to change some video settings to adapt the video image to your
personal taste.
BRIGHTNESS: can be adapted from 0 to 12, default = 6.
CONTRAST: can be adapted from 0 to 12, default = 6.
HUE: (color tone) can be adapted from -6 to +6, default = 0.
SATURATION: (intensity) can be adapted from 0 to 12, default = 0.
SHARPNESS: can be adapted from 0 to 8, default = 0.
SOUND SURROUND SETTINGS
The PPA-01 uses a modified standard mediaplayer that normally has
more functions than used in this portable PA system. Therefore most of
the surround settings are not used or must be set to the default value.
DOWNMIX: must be set to STEREO.
SUBWOOFER: must be set to OFF.
CENTER DELAY: must be set to 0ms.
REAR DELAY: must be set to 0ms.
FRONT: must be set to LARGE.
DOLBY SETTINGS
The PPA-01 uses a modified standard media player that normally has
more functions than used in this portable PA system. Therefore most of
the Dolby settings are not used or must be set to the default value.
OP MODE: must be set to LINE OUT
DYNAMIC RANGE: must be set to OFF
DUAL MONO: must be set to STEREO
VERY IMPORTANT: RECHARGING THE BATTERIES-
The PPA-01 is equipped with 2 rechargeable lead/acid batteries. To extend the lifetime of these
batteries it is very important to NEVER store the unit with empty batteries! So keep in mind to
ALWAYS store the unit with fully charged batteries. If the unit is stored for a long time, recharge it
every 3 months! Please note that NO guarantee is offered on the rechargeable batteries!
Recharging is very easy:
 Make sure that the Battery switch (21) is set to the ON position.
 Connect the mains power input (23) to the mains using the supplied power cable.
 The CHARGING LED (25) will be lit to indicate that the batteries are charging.
IMPORTANT: recharging should be done for at least 6hours!
