FUNCTIONS INTERNAL PLAYER
A brief description of the most important functions of the multifunctional player.
Important note: the layout of the internal player can be different from the one described in this user
manual, main functions however will mostly correspond. If differences are too important, an update
can be downloaded from our website.
A. PWR-button: switches the player on/off.
B. MODE-button: source select button, with each press a different source is selected (radio, usb, disc, aux-
in, SD-card). When the source is not available, it will not appear in the list.
C. APS-button: which means "Automatic Program Scan", while in tuner mode, press this button:
 Shortly: all presets will be played for a few seconds, when you like the currently playing station
preset, press the APS-button again.
 Long (+/-2s): The tuner starts searching for the radio stations with best reception and stores
these automatically to the preset buttons.
D. VOLUME/SELECT-knob: by default turn this knob to change the volume of the player. Each time you
press the knob shortly a different audio function can be adjusted:
 BAS: turn the knob to adjust the low frequencies from -7 to +7, default setting = BAS 00
 TRE: turn the knob to adjust the high frequencies from -7 to +7, default setting = TRE 00
 BAL: turn the knob to adjust the left/right balance from L15 to R15, default setting= BAL 00
 FAD: turn the knob to adjust the front/rear balance from F15 to R15, default setting= FAD 00
IMPORTANT
will not hear any sound anymore, even with the volume at maximum.
 LOUD: turn the knob to turn loudness ON or OFF, default setting = LOUD OFF
 EQ: turn the knob to choose different presets (pop, rock, class, flat), default setting = EQ OFF
Note 1: under normal conditions VOL should be set to +/-"VOL 50"
E. FREQ/TRACK UP/DOWN-buttons: this button has the following functions:
 TRACK-playback (from CD, USB, ...):
 Press long (+/-2sec): You can search inside the track, press the PAUSE/PLAY-button (N) to
resume playback.
 Press shortly: increase the frequency in small steps (MANUAL mode) or increase the
frequency automatically until a radio station is found (AUTO mode)
Note: when CD, USB has directories, all tracks will be put in one long list as if the directories
don't exist.
 RADIO-playback:
 Press long (+/-2sec): you can toggle between manual and automatic search mode.
 Press shortly: change the frequency in small steps (MANUAL mode) or search
automatically until a radio station is found (AUTO mode)
F. BND-button: while in radio mode you can toggle between 3 sets of 6 FM-presets (FM1, FM2 or FM3)
G. DISPLAY: the multicolor VFD-display shows all kinds of information, including MP3 ID3-tags (Artist,
Track, Dir, ...)
H. CD/DVD-slot: push a CD or DVD gently(!) in the slot, the mechanism will soak up the disc. Don't put
any other device in this slot, this will definitely damage your player!

FAD should always be set to "FAD 00"! Never put the FAD to "FAD F15", you
