Replacing the backing pad
1 Remove the screw cover cap Untighten the screw to remove the backing pad
2 Attach the new backing pad to the spindle (aligned correctly), place the washer in the center of the backing pad and
tighten the screw with the hex socket
3 Remove the hex socket
4 Attach the screw cover cap in its groove
Replacing the brake seal
NOTE! Too much vacuum in your dust extraction system may cause the brake seal to malfunction
1 Dismantle the backing pad as described above
2 Pull the old brake seal out of its groove
3 Insert the new brake seal in the groove
4 Mount the backing pad as described above
5 Check the brake seal function

Solution
Connect the sander to a mains outlet that
corresponds with the nominal voltage of
the tool
Connect it properly
Reduce the load on the sander for some
time and the sander will speed up again
Use lighter load and the LED will
automatically change to green
Check and replace brake seal or spindle
bearing if necessary
