POSSIBLE CAUSE

Fuel Starvation
Accessory not connected or not
connected successfully
Low engine oil level causing
safety shutdown
Engine positioned on a slope
causing low oil level shutdown
Poor compression due to a loose
spark plug
Damaged or worn spark plug
Choke left 'On'
Air Filter clogged
Wrong grade of fuel

ACTION
Replenish fuel in the fuel tank
Carefully connect required
accessory
Check and replenish engine oil
Check oil level. Reposition
engine onto level ground
Check spark plug. Refit and
retighten
Replace spark plug
When engine is at operational
temperature ensure Choke is in
the 'Off' position
Remove clean and replace air
filter
Replace fuel with the correct
grade of unleaded petrol
