For your safety
• Please read the safety instructions and operating notes carefully before using your device. This is indispen-
sable for safe and reliable use. Store the operating instructions as well as the sales slip and, if possible, the
outer and inner carton.
• The device is exclusively suitable for 220-240 V~, 50 Hz.
• Do not operate the device when it shows visible damages or the power cord or power plug are effective.
• Do not open the housing but leave any repair to professionals. Contact a specialty shop for this purpose.
Liability and warranty claims are excluded in case of unauthorised repair, improper connection or incorrect
operation.
• Never submerge the device itself or the power cord or power plug in water.
• Never touch the power plug with wet hands.
• Keep the device, the power plug and the power cord away from open flames and hot surfaces.
• Do not bend the cable and keep it away from sharp edges.
• Use the device only in dry rooms indoors. Never operate it in wet rooms or in the rain.
• Never leave the device unattended when in use!
• Never store the device so that it may drop into a tub or sink.
• Never reach for an electrical device when it has dropped into the water. Immediately pull the power plug
in such a case.
• Switch off the device and always pull the plug from the outlet when not in use, when cleaning it or in the
event of malfunction.
• Regularly inspect device and cord for damages.
• Never use the power cord as a carrying handle.
• Render the old device unusable: Pull the power cord from the outlet and cut it.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly quali-
fied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or in-
struction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Danger of injury
• The device contains rotating parts. Never reach into the rotating cylinders during operation. You might
injure yourself and damage the device.
• Route the cable to prevent people from tripping over it.

Improper handling of the device may cause damages.
• The device may only be operated by per-sons familiar with the dangers and special features of the device.
• Never expose the device to high temperatures (radiator, etc.) or weather impact (rain, etc.).
• Do not set up the device outdoors. Insects may be drawn by the chocolate and the device cannot maintain
its consistent temperature.
• The device is equipped with rubber feet. Place it on a non-sensitive surface to avoid discolouration caused
by the rubber feet.
