WARNINGS • CAUTION — Do not use this
device near bath tubs, showers, sinks
or other water containers. • This de-
vice may be used by children aged 8
and over, and by people with physical, senso-
ry or mental disabilities, or people lacking in
experience or knowledge, as long as they are
supervised or have received instructions on
how to use the device safely, and understand
the dangers present. Children must not play
with the device. Children must not carry out
cleaning or maintenance on the device wit-
hout supervision. • When using the device in
a bathroom, unplug it after use, because its
proximity to water can present a danger even
when the device is switched off. • Switch off
and unplug the device after use and before
cleaning it. • To ensure extra protection, it is
advised that, when connecting the device to
the mains electrical circuit in a bathroom, you
install a residual current device (RDC) with a
residual operating current set at a maximum
of 30mA. Seek advice from your installer. • If
the power cable is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, their customer
service department, or a person with a simi-
lar qualification, in order to avoid danger.
Make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage
before you connect the power cable. This device is intended exclusively for domestic
use. Do not use the device on wet/damp hair. Do not use the device for purposes other
than the use for which it was intended. Do not use any accessories other than those
recommended by the manufacturer. Always check the appliance before using it. Never
use this appliance if the plug or the cable are damaged, if it is not working properly, if it
has been dropped, if it is damaged or if the power supply has been dropped in water. Do
not leave the device switched on unattended. Some parts of the appliance can become
very hot when in use. Always hold the appliance by the handle. Do not wrap the power
cable around the appliance. Wait until the device is completely cool before putting it away.
Allow it to cool on a flat, smooth, heat-resistant surface.
BEFORE USING THE DEVICE
• Remove all packaging.
• Clean the device using a slightly damp cloth. Dry the device.
• Fully uncoil the power cable.
OPERATION
• Control button: ON/OFF :When the button is in the "ON" position, the appliance is swit-
ched on and heats up until it reaches a set temperature of 200°C (+/- 15°C).
• The "OFF" position switches the appliance off.
• When the appliance is switched on, the indicator light flashes to show that the brush
bristles are heating up. The light stops flashing when the brush has reached its maximum
temperature (200°C +/- 15°C).
HOW TO USE THE DEMELISS LISS&PROTECT PROFESSIONAL SPRAY:
• A 10 ml sample of Demeliss Liss&Protect Professional Spray is included with the pro-
duct.
• Based on silk protein, this heat protection spray should be applied before straightening
to protect the hair against heat damage from the brush and make straightening easier.
It also has an anti-frizz action.
• The Demeliss Liss&Protect heat protection spray is also available to buy in a 200 ml
version in your usual points of sale.
CLEANING
• Switch off and unplug the device.
• Allow the device to cool.
• Remove any hair that may have been left on the brush.
• Clean the device using a slightly damp cloth and then dry it.
WARNING! Do not immerse the device and/or its power cable in liquid: risk of short-cir-
cuit or electric shocks.
