VALIDATION
The method has been validated in Europe using:
– RDG G7836 CD cleaner-disinfector produced by Miele (pro-
gramme Vario TD)
– Miele standard baskets (E450 / E142)
– Neodisher MediZym as pH-neutral cleaning agent (0.5%, by
Dr. Weigert)
Alternatively: Neodisher Mediclean forte 0.5% (alkaline), and
for neutralisation Neodisher Z (by Dr. Weigert)
DRYING
Even if the cleaner-disinfector is equipped with a drying func-
tion, make sure that no residual moisture is left in the compon-
ents. If necessary, remove any residual moisture by shaking
the parts and allow them to dry completely.
Chemical manual cleaning and disinfection
Alternatively, cleaning and disinfection can also be carried out
manually. The validated agents are listed together with all rel-
evant information in the following table:
