8.1 STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT
Whenever the tank is to be stored for a certain period, we recommend carrying out the following operations:
- Disconnect the equipment from the energy sources.
- Empty the tank.
- Clean the tank thoroughly of any residue and deposit.
- Cover the equipment with a waterproof tarpaulin.
8.2 PLATE DATA & SERIAL NUMBER
The tank is provided with the manufacturer's identification plate, shown in the picture below.
For no reason must the plate be removed, even if the equipment must be re-sold.
For any communication with the manufacturer always refer to the serial number written on the plate itself.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Damaged pressure gauge.
Damaged or faulty safety valve.
Clogged safety valve.
Between container and lid.
Between air motor support and
the lid.
From the safety valve.
From the exhaust valve for relieving
air from the tank.
At the paint outlet.
Fluid passages between the lid and
the outlet connections.
CHECK POINTS
Pressure gauge reading.
Incorrect relief pressure.
Incorrect relief pressure.
Loose fixing bolts tightness.
Dirt on lid packings and/or on the
tank brim.
Damaged lid packing.
Loose nut for air motor support.
Damaged agitator packing.
Unsuitable sealing due to the foreign
matter and/or damaged valve.
The exhaust valve is open or impro-
per seal of the valve.
The two-way valve is open or
improper seal of the two-way valve.
Loose connections.
REMEDY
Replace. (!)

Clean with air or replace. (!)
Tighten all fixing bolts firmly and uni-
formly. (!)
Clean. (!)
Replace. (!)
Apply some adhesive and tighten the
nut.
Replace.(!)
Clean with a jet of air, replace if the
problem has not been solved. (!)
Close the valve, replace if leak persists.
Close using the handle, replace if leak
persists.
Apply some adhesive and reassemble
