8. From the Models list, select Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA), and
then click Next.
9. Click Next to install the driver, and then click Finish.
10. Click Apply, then click Close.
11. Shut down the operating system and turn off the computer.
12. Remove the previous graphics adapter and insert the new one.
13. When Windows 98 restarts, click Start, click Settings, and then click
Control Panel.
14. Double-click Display, and then click the Settings tab.
15. Click Advanced, click the Adapter tab, and then click Change.
16. Click Next, click Display a list of all drivers, and then click Next.
17. Insert the CD. Click Have Disk, select or type the path to the device
driver files on CD, and then click OK.
Note: If Windows cannot find the files for the NVIDIA Graphics Adapter,
make sure the path for the CD-ROM is correct and the correct CD
is inserted.
18. Select the operating system you are using from the CD. When Windows
finds the files, click OK, and then click Next. Windows copies the files to
the hard disk.
19. Click Finish, click Apply, and then click Close.
20. Click Yes to restart the computer.
Installing the device drivers for Windows 2000
If you use Windows 2000, follow these instructions to install your device
drivers:
1. Shut down the operating system and turn off the computer.
2. Remove the previous graphics adapter and insert the new one.
3. Start Windows 2000.
4. Click Start, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.
5. Double-click Display, and then click the Settings tab.
6. Click Advanced, click the Adapter tab, and then click Properties.
7. Click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver.
8. Click Next.
9. Select Display a list of known drivers.
10. Click Have Disk.
11. Insert the CD and then select or type the path to the CD-ROM.
12. Click Browse, click Open and then click OK.
13. From the Models list, select NVIDIA GeForce2 MX and then click Next.
Note: If Windows cannot find the files for the NVIDIA Graphics Adapter,
make sure the path for the CD-ROM is correct and the correct CD
is inserted.
14. Click Next and then click Finish.
15. Click Yes to restart the computer.
