Automatic pressing function
The pressing tool functions electromechanically. An automatic pressing function makes sure
that the pressed joint is completely finished. For reasons of safety, the automatic pressing
function activates only after a certain press capacity has been achieved or after a specified
time (after approx. 2 seconds). The pressing sequence can be interrupted at any point prior to
this by releasing the start button [3]. If the start button [3] is released before the automatic
pressing function has been achieved, the piston remains in the position it has reached. The
red LED [2] flashes. To retract the piston, press the start button [3]. To resume pressing, press
the start button [3] for approx. 2 seconds. Once the automatic pressing function has been
engaged, the pressing sequence runs automatically and can only be interrupted by pressing
the stop button [4].
Stop button [4]
The stop button [4] has two functions:
• Switching off the motor
• Cancelling the trouble indication
LED displays [1], [2]
The two LEDs [1], [2] show the operating states of the pressing tool. The pressing tool is ready
for operation once the green LED [1] is lit. The red LED [2] indicates a malfunction.
Signal tone
A single signal tone sounds if the pressing operation has been completed correctly.
A signal tone sounds six times in case of malfunctions or if the pressing operation has not
been completed correctly.
