Move the sander constantly while the sanding
tool is in contact with the work surface. In doing
so, ensure that you move the sander evenly and
over a wide area. If you stop the sander on the
work surface or move the sander unevenly, this
may result in a disagreeable spiral pattern of
scratches and an uneven work surface.

Cleaning

 Regularly blow out the housing interior
and motor with dry compressed air.
 Blow out the sanding head and gimbal
bearing with dry compressed air.
Replacing the rubber extraction ring
 Remove sanding head from the power tool.
 After loosening the FixTec clamping nut (B),
remove the diamond sanding pad (A).
 Loosen screw connection (C) on the
tensioning belt of the rubber extraction
ring (D).
 Push down rubber extraction ring off
the housing.
 Pull new rubber extraction ring over the
housing and secure with tensioning belt.
Repairs
Repairs may be carried out by an authorised
customer service centre only.
