HOW TO USE CONTINUED
To Fry:
1. For foods that are not coated with batter, place directly in the frying basket. Be
sure not to fill frying basket beyond the max line or below the min. line.
2. Lower basket into oil. Be sure to align the handle in the center. Handle does not
fold down.
3. For foods coated with batter, first lower frying basket into oil and then gently place
foods directly into oil. This will prevent the coated food from sticking to the
bottom of the frying basket.
4. Close the lid by pressing down until lid clicks shut.
5. Reference to "Cooking Guide" on page 6. Adjust the temperature control knob
according to the food. The heating indicator light will turn on.
6. When the desired temperature has been reached, the heating indicator turns off.
Then place the basket with dry food inside into the inner pot, gently.
7. When frying is complete, raise the basket handle to the holder. Strain the oil from
the food for about 10-30 seconds.
8. Carefully remove the fried food from the frying basket. Be cautious of the hot oil
that might spatter from the frying pot.
9. When finished, adjust the temperature control knob to "off". Unplug deep fryer
from the wall outlet to turn off. Allow the oil to cool completely before moving or
cleaning the appliance.
Note:
• You can place the cooked oil and the basket in the inner pot after using.
• Do not move the fryer or pour the hot oil until it is cooled entirely.
• Replace new oil after about 20 fryings or when the oil has become thick or brown.
CAUTION:
• Lid pops up quickly; use the other hand to guide the lid when opening.
• Always shake frozen foods to remove ice particles prior to frying. Pat dry fresh-cut
french fries and other damp foods before frying.
• The surface of the lid is very hot when heating, please do not touch!
