Depth stop is used to set the required drilling depth. To install the depth stop, insert it into
the opening in the auxiliary handle. The distance between the tip of the drill bit and the tip
of the depth stop corresponds with the desired drilling depth.
Fitting and removing drills (Fig.1)
Make sure the drill is disconnected from power supply.
WARNING. Failure to unplug the drill could
result in accidental starting causing serious
injury.
To fit/remove a drill bit:
• Rotate the sleeve right to open the chuck jaws.
Raise the front of the drill slightly to keep the drill
bit from falling out of the chuck jaws.
• Insert the drill bit into the chuck (1) the full length
of the jaws.
WARNING. Do not insert the drill bit into the
chuck jaws and tighten as shown in Fig.2.
This could cause the drill bit to be thrown from the
drill resulting in possible serious personal injury or
damage to the chuck.
• Tighten the chuck jaws securely on drill bit, using
only the chuck key provided. Do not use a wrench
to tighten or loosen the chuck jaws.
• Remove the chuck key and return to the storage area.
• To remove the drill bit, use the chuck key, insert it into the opening in the chuck and
rotate left until the chuck jaws open so that you can remove the drill bit safely.

Speed adjustment

The variable speed dial (6) delivers higher speed by turning the variable speed dial
clockwise. For slower speed, turn the dial (6) anticlockwise.
The speed may be also adjusted depending on how far the ON/OFF switch is pressed.
Light pressure on the ON/OFF switch results in low speed. Further pressure on the ON/OFF
switch increases the speed.
Note: You might hear a whistling or ringing noise from the ON/OFF switch during use. This
is a normal part of the ON/OFF switch function.
