CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the product from the power supply before cleaning and
maintenance.
Use a wet cloth for external cleaning. Do not use harsh, aggressive cleaners,
or steel wool.
Never submerge the kettle in water or other liquids (not even partially)!
Impurities from water collect during normal use. To clean water deposits from
the kettle you may use limescale remover (according to the manufacturer's
manual), or the following procedure:
1. Pour 1dl of vinegar into the kettle and top up with water. Leave the solution
overnight. Do not boil!
2. Pour out the contents and clean the remaining deposits with a wet cloth.
Top up the kettle with clean water, boil it and pour out again. Repeat once
more – the kettle is ready for use.
3. You may repeat the entire procedure.
NOTE! Remove the deposits on a regular basis, depending on the water
hardness and frequency of use. Deposits reduce the heating effect and life of
the kettle considerably.
REPAIR & MAINTENANCE
Any extensive maintenance or repair that requires access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an expert
service centre.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

• Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
• The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
• Polyethylene bags shall be handed over for recycling.
Appliance recycling at the end of its service life:
A symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product should not go into household waste.
It must be taken to the collection point of an electric and electronic equipment recycling facility. By making
sure this product is disposed of properly, you will help prevent the negative effects on the environment
and human health that would otherwise result from inappropriate disposal of this product. You can learn more about
recycling this product from your local authorities, a household waste disposal service or in the shop where you bought
this product.
