3. Connect the base to the mains (see the ratings on the nameplate).
4. Set the required water temperature using the selector. The water will reach the boiling point in the right, red section
of the scale and the kettle switch will turn off automatically. The black section of the selector scale corresponds to
a lower water temperature.
4. Turn the kettle on by moving the switch to the "I" position.
The operation of the kettle is indicated by the illumination of a light on the kettle body. The kettle lid shall be closed
properly while heating water.
5. The kettle turns off as soon as the required temperature is reached and the operation light goes out. Water heating
can be terminated prematurely by moving the switch to the off position or by removing the kettle from the base.
Note: Make sure that the lid is closed properly. The kettle cannot turn off automatically if this is not the case.
6. Remove the kettle from the removable base and use water.
7. If you want to reheat water you have just finished boiling, wait approximately 30 seconds before activating the
switch.
8. Any impurities are caught by the filter while pouring.
Note: If several drops of water are seen on the kettle base after heating has been completed, this does not represent
a failure. It is a small amount of condensed steam, which deactivates the kettle thermostat.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the product from the mains prior to any maintenance operation.
Use a wet cloth to clean the external surface of the kettle. Do not use abrasive
or aggressive cleaning products. Do not use steel wool.
Never immerse the kettle or base into water or any other liquid (not even
partially)!
Impurities contained in water deposit in the kettle in the course of normal use.
These sediments can be removed from the kettle perfectly using preparations
designed for removing limescale (observe the producer's instructions) or using
the following procedure:
1. Pour three cups of vinegar into the kettle and top up with water. Let the
solution act overnight. Do not boil!
2. Empty the kettle contents and remove the residues using a wet cloth. Fill the
kettle with clean water, boil and empty the kettle. Repeat once more. The
kettle is now ready for use.
Note: Remove the sediment inside the kettle regularly, at least once a week,
depending on the water hardness and frequency of use. Sediments reduce the
heating power and service life of the kettle significantly
