4. Install the Tubing - Rough Deck Installations
Measure distance from bottom of spout supply tube to top of tee.
Add 1" (2.5 cm) to this measurement and cut a piece of 1/2"
Nom. (5/8" O.D.) copper tubing to fit into the supply tube and
tee port.
Pivot the valve bodies enough to remove the tee and two pieces
of tubing. (It may be necessary to remove the entire valve body
assembly.)
Clean and flux the ends for all tubing connections.
Install the three copper tubes into the tee.
Mate the copper tube from the tee with the spout supply tube.
Pivot the valve bodies onto the two horizontal pieces of copper
tubing.
Make sure the cold supply is on the right hand side.
DO NOT solder at this time.
Sidebody extensions must rest inside the valve body deck holes,
not skewed out of the holes.
Tighten the sidebody extensions with adjustable pliers.
