INSTALLATION TIPS FOR THE TRANSMITTER S 550
The infrared transmitter S 550 should radiate freely. The ventilating slits shall not
be covered. Its optimum position is in the middle of a shelf or near the TV / hi-fi
components to which it is connected. Rule of thumb: The transmitter should be
placed within the range of the receiving place.
INSTALLATION TIPS FOR CHARGING OF THE BATTERY BA 90
In the charging port
recharge of the rechargeable battery BA 90 takes approx. twice the time of the
discharge. 4 hours listening / 8 hours recharge, 2 hours listening / 4 hours recharge, etc.
Comfortable use is achieved with a BA 90. One BA 90 can be charged in the
rechargeable battery magazine and the second one supplies the infrared headphone
HDI 550.
It´s impossible to overcharge the rechargeable battery BA 90 in the transmitter S
550, even if the BA 90 remains in the magazine for a longer period.
The transmitter S 550 can charge a BA 90 even if the receiver is switched off
If the mains unit remains connected a BA 90 can be charged in the magazine
