12. Install the Offset Pile Seal and Threshold Insert
IMPORTANT! Carefully follow the silicone sealant manufacturer's instructions for application and curing
time.
NOTE: Thoroughly clean and dry all dust, dirt, and grease from the bottom track and shower ledge
surfaces where silicone sealant will be applied.
Measure the distance between the hinge and the side panel or strike jamb edge.
Cut the offset pile seal and the threshold insert to the measured distance.
Position the pile seal so the pile side is towards the inside of the shower.
Apply three dabs of silicone sealant into the groove on the threshold and insert the threshold insert
into the groove.
Apply silicone sealant to the outside of the shower where it meets the walls.
