USER UNIT
The scale displays the User Unit, e.g. „U1.000", indicating
that the user unit is set to 1.000. The User Unit can be set
from 0.000 to 9.999. It is a ratio to the System Unit. For
example, if the User Unit is set to 1.234 and if the System
Unit is kg, then after switching to User Unit, the scale
measures the weight (1000kg), and displays the calculated
value (1234usr).
This means you have to watch up the maximal load hanging
on the scale while using the user unit, to not overload the
scale because of a different displayed value!

e)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
f)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period of time.
g)
The charging time for a completely discharged
battery is approximately 8 hours. When charging the
battery, the charging indicator being green indicates
a lack of power, the red indicator indicates full
h)
Depending on the LED brightness or the LCD
backlight setting, a 6V/10Ah battery works from 80
hours to 200 hours, a 6V/5Ah battery works from 40
hours to 100 hours, a 6V/3.2Ah battery works from
30 hours to 80 hours.
i)
In order to conserve battery life, enable Auto-Off and
Idle Mode, dim the LED brightness or turn off the
LCD backlight.
j)
To obtain a maximum service life, the battery should
be stored between 20°C (-4°F) and +50°C (122°F).
Stored batteries should be recharged every three
months.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
There are 6V 5 Ah lead-acid batteries and 1.5V AA batteries
installed in the crane scale. Before removing them, you
must switch off the scale and disconnect its power supply
pack.
To remove the lead-acid battery from the scale:
•
Undo the screws securing the cover at the back of
the device. Take off the cover. Disconnect / unsolder
the battery lead wires. Unscrew and remove the
battery or batteries (depending on the model of the
scale).
To remove the 1.5 V AA batteries in the remote control:
•
Remove the flap at the back of the remote control.
Take out the batteries.
