4. ASSEMBLY
For storage and transport purposes, some
components of the machine are not installed
in the factory and have to be assembled after
unpacking. Follow the instructions below.
4.1 ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS
The packaging holds the components needed for
assembly (fig. 3 ) listed in the following table:

4.1.1 Unpacking
1. Cautiously open the packaging, paying
attention not to lose components.
2. Consult the documentation in the box,
including these instructions.
3. Remove all the unassembled parts from the
box.
4. Remove the snow thrower from the box.
5. Dispose of the box and packaging in
compliance with local regulations.
4.2 HANDLE ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the auger command cable to the
handle (fig. 5.A)
2. Insert the handle tubes (fig. 3.C) on the lower
one
3. Fasten the parts of the handle using the
specific screws (fig. 3.A) and the knobs
(fig. 3.B), paying attention to position the
specific spacer (fig. 3.D)
4. Adequately tighten the knobs (fig. 3.B)
4.3 DISCHARGE CHUTE ASSEMBLY
1. The 3 screws (fig. 3.E) and the knobs (fig. 3.F)
are pre-assembled on the fastening ring on
the chute (fig. 3.G).
2. Position the discharge chute (fig. 3.J) on the
snow thrower.
3. Insert the three screws (fig. 3.E) and the nuts
(fig. 3.F) as shown in figure 3.
4. Tighten the screws with the knobs.
5. CONTROLS
5.1 IGNITION KEY
Used to start and stop the engine. The ignition key
has two positions (fig. 10.B):
1. Key removed - OFF - the engine stops and
cannot be restarted.
2. Key inserted - ON - the engine can start and
run.
IMPORTANT The engine cannot be started
unless the safety key is fully inserted.
