Mobile networks
Customise settings to control networks.
On the Settings screen, tap Connections → Mobile networks.
Mobile networks will not be displayed on the Bluetooth model.
• Auto: Set the Galaxy Watch3 to automatically connect to or disconnect from the mobile
network depending on the Galaxy Watch3's connection to the mobile device via
Bluetooth.
• When the Galaxy Watch3 is connected to the mobile device via Bluetooth,
the Galaxy Watch3's mobile network is turned off to save battery power. Then,
the Galaxy Watch3 will not receive messages and calls made to the Galaxy
Watch3's phone number.
• The Galaxy Watch3's mobile network is automatically turned on after a
moment when no Bluetooth connection is detected. Then, you can receive
messages and calls made to the Galaxy Watch3's phone number.
• Auto appears as Turn on now when you use the Galaxy Watch3 without
connecting to a mobile device. To connect to a mobile network, tap Turn on
now, then tap the switch to activate it.
• Mobile data: Set the Galaxy Watch3 to use data connections on any mobile network.
• Data roaming: Set the Galaxy Watch3 to use data connections when you are roaming.
• Data usage: Keep track of your data usage amount and customise the settings for the
limitation.
• Network mode: Select a network type to connect to between LTE and 3G.
• Network operators: Search for available networks and manually register a network.
• Access Point Names: Set up access point names (APNs).
• Mobile plans: Subscribe to the service provider's mobile plan or additional services.
