Preliminary checks
The user must appoint a qualified person able to manage and run
the system, in particular as regards the following operations:
Check various parameters for water treatment and dis-
pensing of additives required to ensure its quality.
Please refer to the Jacuzzi system water treatment guide
and relative catalogue for details on water quality mainte-
nance, the methods and warnings governing the use of rela-
tive chemical products.
Check efficiency of the cartridge filter.
Check and eliminate any alarm messages that appear on
the display.
System maintenance.
The user, unless properly qualified, must only undertake the actions
listed below. He must not take any other action. He must ensure,
before starting the system, that it is set up to operate correctly and
that the water is at the desired temperature.
In the event of faults or malfunctioning, the user must disconnect
the system via the master switch and then request the inter-
vention of specialist technicians.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. shall not be held liable if operations to
be performed by specialists are carried out by unauthorized
personnel.
User safety
If installed by qualified personnel in compliance with the in-
structions in the enclosed installation manual, the system does
not present any risks for the user. However, safety is also contin-
gent upon appropriate use, according to the provisions in the
respective manual, while the user must delegate the operations
described in the installation manual to qualified personnel.
For any extra maintenance e/or repairs it is recommended that
you contact an Authorized Service Centre and use only original
spare parts.
WARNINGS
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS CAREFULLY.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. accepts no liability for damages
arising from failure to observe the following direc-
tions.
This equipment must not be used by individuals (including
children) with limited physical, sensorial and/or cognitive
abilities, or individuals who do not have the knowledge nec-
essary for its use.
Children may use this equipment only under strict supervi-
sion by a person responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to make sure they do not play
with the equipment.
Do not use the water at temperatures over 40 °C.
Temperatures between 38 °C and 40 °C are normally tolerated by
adults but the ideal temperature is 35-36 °C. The electric heater is
provided with dual electronic safety device (hardware - software).
Tolerance to hot water varies from person to person.
Pregnant women and small children must not use the spa without
first consulting a doctor; in any case the water temperature must
have a temperature of less than 38°C.
Be very careful when using the spa alone. Prolonged immersion in
warm water may cause nausea, dizziness and fainting. If you intend
to use the spa for more than 10-15 minutes, a lower water tempera-
ture must be set. This applies also to children.
It is always advisable to have a shower before entering the water.
CAUTION
Only the load-bearing covers are designed to support
weights (max. 200 kg), but they must not be subjected
to violent, sudden stresses (jumping, etc.).
Do not sit, walk, or lie on other types of covers (non-
load bearing). Do not deposit objects.
To prevent accidental falls into the spa, it is advisable to in-
stall the key-locking system provided with the thermal cover
(see instruction manual).
Persons with heart conditions, diabetes, high or low blood
pressure or other health problems must not use the spa
without first consulting their doctor.
Do not use the spa after drinking alcohol, taking drugs or
medicines that cause drowsiness or that can raise/lower the
blood pressure.
Do not use the spa in extreme weather conditions (during
storms etc.).
