Adjusting the brush heads
After the installation, the brush heads must
be adjusted to ensure an optimised clean-
ing result.
During the adjustment, there is a difference
between R and D floor heads. The size of
the floor head (55/65/75/90) does not make
a difference here.
B 60 W and B 80 W with R + D brush
head
Disengage the quick release and move
the holder so that the brushes evenly
rest on the ground.
Set the amount of water and the brush
speed for the selected brush head in
the menu (refer to the operating instruc-
tions of the appliance)
B 60 W with R brush head
1 Brush head intake
Ensure that both brush heads are sitting
on the floor evenly. Use a sheet of pa-
per to verify this: You must not be able
to slide this sheet of paper under the
brushes.
If the brush rollers are not evenly
placed, make adjustments on the brush
head intake.
B 60 W with D brush head
1 Brush head intake
Ensure that the brush head can be lifted
slightly in the front and in the back. The
brush head must not be tensioned.
If the disc brushes are not evenly sup-
ported, make adjustments on the brush
head retainer.
B 90 R with R + D brush head
Only preinstall the draw tabs. The
knurled nut and the lock nut of the draw
shackles must not be tightened.
R brush head: Ensure that both brush
heads are sitting on the floor evenly.
Use a sheet of paper to verify this: You
must not be able to slide this sheet of
paper under the brushes.
D brush head: Ensure that the brush
head can be lifted slightly in the front
and in the back. The brush head must
not be tensioned.
Screw the knurled nut all the way to the
drawbar and tighten the lock nut
NOTICE
Both drawbars (left and right) must be set to
the same distance "X", so that the floor
head is pulled straight by the appliance.
Check the settings
Check the setting of the brush head by per-
forming a test cleaning. The brush head
must not jump or oscillate during the clean-
ing process.
If the run is uneven, correct the settings as
described above.
