FuNcTIONs
1 PHONE FuNcTION
1.1 Pairing to your phone
With INTERPHONE F2 off, press and hold the multifunction
button for approx. 8 seconds until the LED flashes blue and
red alternately .
With the LeD flashing red/blue, search for devices from the pho-
ne (refer to the mobile phone or navigator instruction manual).
the phone or navigator will detect the INTERPHONE F2, se-
lect it and enter the numeric code 0000.
1.2 use
Answering a call: the loudspeaker emits a warning tone or
the ring tone to announce an incoming call: to answer a call,
briefly press the mfB.
Ending a call: to end a call, briefly press mfB button.
Voice-activated dialling: some mobile phones allow you
to make a voice-activated call by pressing the mfB button
briefly.
Rejecting a call: to reject an incoming call, press and hold
down the MFB button for approx. 4 seconds.
To reject a call in VOX mode follow the instructions given in
the VOX function section.
Volume control: press the + and - volume buttons to adjust
the volume to the required level.
1.3 voice-activated answering (vOX)
the voice activated answering function allows you to answer
a call without using your hands or any buttons.
Enabling the voice-activation: press and hold down the Vo-
lume + button for approx. 5 seconds. An acoustic signal will
confirm the operation.
Disabling the voice-activation: press and hold down the Vo-
lume - button for approx. 5 seconds. An acoustic signal will
confirm the operation.
Answering a call: when there is an incoming call, pronounce a
word (such as HELLO) within ten seconds to activate the line.
Rejecting a call: when there is an incoming call, wait ten se-
conds without speaking to reject a call.
1.4 voice-activated dialling
the voice-activated dialling function allows you to make a
call without touching the phone buttons. INTERPHONE F2
is compatible with the voice activated dialling function of
many Bluetooth® mobile phones: to activate the function
and access the controls, refer to your mobile phone manual.
2 gPs AudIO FuNcTION
2.1 Pairing
GPS navigators use the PHONE profile (headset) for their au-
dio connection: to pair the phone when using the navigator
you need to use the specific function of the GPS device. See
your navigator manual for more information and settings.
3 sTEREO FuNcTION
3.1 use
stereo reproduction is possible only with the module con-
nected and switched on.
Insert the 2.5mm jack into the socket on the f2 jack and
make sure that it is inserted correctly to assure the required
tightness.
then insert the 3.5mm jack into the audio player socket and
then switch on the INTERPHONE F2 module.
music reproduction is managed entirely from the audio de-
vice, volume control and track selection cannot be managed
from the INTERPHONE F2 module.
An acoustic signal warns of an incoming call and interrupts
the musical reproduction, press the mfB button to talk.
During musical reproduction, the GPs navigator can cut in
to give directions.
Note: always maintain the music volume at a level which does not com-
promise personal safety when using on the road.
cARE ANd MAINTENANcE
If you do not use the kit for long periods, charge the battery
every 2 to 3 months to prevent damage.
Do not clean the kit using solvents or degreasing products,
as these may damage the kit, use a damp sponge and, if re-
quired, neutral soap for cleaning.
