Height Adjustable Arm Insert
Replacement
1.
To remove the upper arm assembly from
the lower arm assembly, depress the height
adjustment trigger and pull arm upward. This
may take considerable force.
2.
Remove the black plastic arm insert by
depressing the tabs located on both sides of
the lower arm. Pull insert out of lower arm.
3.
Install new arm insert, with engagement
ribs towards rear of chair, until the tabs are
engaged into arm.
4.
Remove the old spring from the upper
arm assembly. This spring will be damaged
from the removal of the arm, and must be
replaced. Insert new spring onto the inner
rectangular tube, with the small retention
bump towards inside of tube. Secure into
place with a rubber mallet.
5.
To reassemble arms, depress the height
adjustment trigger and push upper arm
assembly back on the lower.
6.
Make certain arm adjusts and locks into
all height positions.
