Electrical connection

The supply voltage (L+ ... L–) is to be connected
between pin 1 and pin 3 on the plug. The nominal
voltage is 24 V DC.
The supply voltage is not allowed to exceed the
value of 40 V DC for more than 0.2 s on the
occurrence of a single failure. This requires, among
other aspects, the safe separation of the power
supply and the transformer.
For application and usage as per the requirements of
cULus, the supply voltage must be provided by a
transformer with protected secondary
a) either max. 5 A for voltage from 0 ... 20 Vrms
(0 ... 28.3 Vp)
b) or 100/Vp for voltages from 20 ... 30 Vrms
(28.3 ... 42.4 Vp).
