Operation as 3-conductor

 Safety evaluation
On operation as 3-conductor it is only allowed to use
OUT2 as an output. Otherwise the sensor no longer
has a safety function!
 Connect output OUT1 to the supply voltage.
It is imperative cross-circuits and short-circuits
above all between supply voltage and output OUT2
are excluded by laying cables with protection, within
an installation compartment (e.g. laying in a
conduit)!
In addition a cable with an injected plug connector
is to be used. The plug connector must be
connected to the IN3000 Direct safety switch.
If all measures are not implemented, only
IEC 61508 SIL1 / EN ISO 13849 PL c and
IEC 62061 SILCL 1 can be achieved.
If all these measures are implemented, IEC 61508
SIL2 / EN ISO 13849 PL d and IEC 62061 SILCL 2
can be achieved.
