Switching the appliance on for the first

Selecting the language
Press the ON/OFF symbol; you will hear a short
beep and the display will show the list of available
languages.
Scroll through the options using the UP/DOWN
arrows until you reach the desired language and
press OK to confirm the selection.
Every time the dishwasher is switched on
subsequently, the list of programmes will be
displayed.
The language can also be changed at any time by
pressing the P symbol three times.
After selecting the language you may choose
whether to activate or deactivate the SOUND.
Press the OK (yes) or OK (no) symbol to confirm
the selection.
If you select and confirm EXIT, or if you press the
P symbol, you will be taken straight to the list of
washing programmes.
Loading the detergent
A successful wash also depends on the correct
amount of detergent being used, as recommended
by the manufacturer. Exceeding the recommended
amount does not result in a more effective wash
and pollutes the environment.
To obtain the best results from each washing and
drying cycle, powder detergent, rinse aid liquid
and salt should be used.

appliance, i.e. when the cycle requires 1 tablet,
place it in compartment A and close the cover;
when it requires 2, place the second tablet at
the bottom of the appliance.
3. Remove detergent residues from the edges of
the compartment and close the cover until it
clicks.

Starting the dishwasher
1.Turn the water tap on.
2.Open the door and load the racks (see Loading
the Racks).
3.Measure out the detergent (see adjacent figure)
and close the door.
4.Press the ON/OFF symbol; the display will light
up and show the list of available programmes.
5.Use the UP/DOWN arrows to select the desired
programme according to the type of crockery
loaded and its level of soiling (see Table of
Programmes).
6.Press OK to confirm the selection.
7.If you do not wish to select any of the available
options (see Washing Options*), press the START/
PAUSE symbol; a short beep followed by a longer
beep will mark the start of the programme and the
display will show four rectangles. The full
rectangles represent the stages which will be
implemented during this wash:
Pre-wash, Wash, Rinse, or Drying.
8.At the end of the wash programme you will hear 2
short beeps followed by a longer beep, and the
text CYCLE ENDED will appear on the display.
9.Switch off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF
symbol and shut off the water tap.
10.Open the door and wait for a few minutes before
removing the crockery inside, in order to avoid
burns.
Unload the racks, beginning with the lower level.
The order in which the different wash programmes
are displayed will change according to the
frequency with which each cycle is used.
Modifying a wash cycle in progress
If a mistake was made during the wash cycle
selection process it is possible to change the
cycle, provided that it has only just begun.
To change the cycle after the wash cycle has
started, switch the machine off and on again using
the ON/OFF symbol and select
the desired wash programme and options.
Adding extra crockery
Press the START/PAUSE symbol; you will hear a
short beep and the text CYCLE PAUSED will appear
on the display. Open the door, taking care to avoid
the escaping steam, and place the crockery inside
the dishwasher.
Press the START/PAUSE symbol: the cycle will
restart after a prolonged beep is emitted.
If the START/PAUSE symbol is pressed the wash
programme or the Delayed Start function (if
selected) is interrupted.
At this stage it is not possible to change the
programme.
