For this reason, we are making this update of the Anti Hopping Clutch for
950/990 LC8 models available to you. This update will minimize wear on
the clutch plates and optimize the clutch function. We would like to wish
you continued riding enjoyment, and stay READY TO RACE.

Assembly of spacer washer kit
The engine should be clean and cooled down. Place the motorcycle on the
side stand so no oil will run out when you remove the clutch cover. Remove
the casing screw and screw on the special tool 0113 080802 to block the
crankshaft (A).
Dismount the outer clutch cover (remove the foot brake lever if necessary)
(B).

The Function of the clutch is dependent on the spacer screws. Therefore,
the spacer screws must be used with the spacer washers (1mm)
Loosen one screw after the other, add the 1 mm spacer washer and retighten
them to 8 Nm in a crisscross pattern.
Pull the clutch lever as a final mechanical check. The pressure plate must
move freely.
Check the seal ring in the clutch cover and replace if necessary. Mount
the cover and tighten the screws to 10 Nm. Remove the engine locking
screw, check the oil level and check the engine for leaks.
