1)
Cleaning a guitar including strings after playing should be done with a buffing pad. This
will help remove grease and acid finger marks and prolong string service life and guitar
finishing.
2)
Penetration of fingerboard material with special oil should be done at least twice a year.
3)
Do not perform guitar maintenance or repair yourself, except for the works specified in
this User Manual, since maintenance and repair should be performed by qualified
personnel otherwise it would cause instrument failure or reduction of its service life.
Guitar tuning machines are fitted with spring mechanism which automatically compensates
the wear of worm gears and prevents reverse stroke of tuning machines. There is a mechanism
spring tension adjustment screw on the heads of tuning machines which makes it possible to
adjust the force required for rotation of tuning machines.
Clockwise rotation of the heads tightens tuning machines and anticlockwise rotation loosens
tuning machines. Tuning machines should be adjusted so that they would not be loose but
could rotate smoothly. Such adjustment is normally performed at manufacture's works
however it might be required during guitar operation. It is important to prevent excessive
tension of tuning machines which might result in the excessive wear of tuning machines spring
mechanism.
