IMPORTANT: prior to string height adjustment above neck it is necessary to carry out truss rod
adjustment.
Correct string height setting above neck (distance between a string and neck frets) provides a
comfortable playing the guitar. Guitars "UNIVERSUM GUITARS "ELENA" are completed at
manufacturer's factory using the strings of 10-46 gauges and setting of string height above
neck is made on the first and sixth strings only and corresponds to the following values:

Height of the rest of the strings is set up automatically which is provided for by bridge
structural peculiarities.
When installing the strings of a different gauge it is necessary to adjust string height so that a
comfortable playing would be provided
Guitars of "UNIVERSUM GUITARS "ELENA" product line are completed with bridge of brass
alloy with frame string holder made of fine wood produced by "UNIVERSUM VG"
IMPORTANT: MANUFACTURER admits guitar completeness with string holders by the other
makers depending on a guitar model.
