FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. If there is any anti-drumming coating on the fitting points, this should be
removed (points O, S., G, P). Photo 1 shows a layer of sealant at point
P which should be removed from both sides. Take the rear silencer out
of its three suspension rubbers and lower it. Remove the rearmost
exhaust mounting from the chassis. Slide the backplates A via the back
into the chassis. Photo 2 shows the situation on the left. The situation
on the right is a mirror-image of this.
2. Place a lock washer under the head of an M10x120 bolt. Push the bolt
through the slot provided in angle iron F . Place angle iron F against the
inside of the right chassis. Position the distance pieces H and I via the
outside of the chassis and fix with a M10 nut with spring washer. Place
distance piece E in hole L in the chassis and fix with one M10x110 bolt
with lock and spring washers and nut.
3. On the left, position the angle iron M and fit two M10x40 bolts with lock
and spring washers in holes O. Position the towbar at the right over the
exhaust and against angle iron F. Place the towbar on the left against
the chassis and angle iron M. Fit at hole G one M10x40 bolt with lock
and spring washers. At hole S, fit one M10x40 bolt with lock washer (
25x10.5x4 mm.) and spring washer. At points N, fit two M10x40 bolts
with lock and spring washers and nuts. On the left, place distance tubes
D and E at B and C via the existing holes in the chassis. At point B, fit
one M10x120 bolt and at hole C, one M10x110 bolt, both with lock and
spring washers and nuts.

all the way through. Treat both sides of the drilled hole against rust. Fit
one M10x150 bolt with distance tube R, double lock washers, spring
washers and nuts. The ball hitch is fitted to the tow bar with one
M12x70/26.2 bolt and one M12x75/31.2 bolt together with socket plate,
lock washers, and self-locking nuts.
Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torques shown in the Table. Refit the
exhaust mounting and hang the exhaust back in the rubbers.
Important notice for Nissan Micra K11E with diesel engine and

NOTE:
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting points.
* All bolts are quality 8.8 - nuts 8. or when mentioned in fitting instructions

* Don't forget the spring- and plain washers.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball
hitch pressure of your vehicle.
* It is recommendable to retighten all fixing bolts and nuts after the towbar
has been in use for some 1000 km/600 miles.
