CAUTION: BEFORE USING THE POWER TOOL READ THIS MANUAL
CAREFULLY AND KEEP IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
• This power tool is not intended for use by persons with restricted
physical, sensory or mental capabilities (including children) or
persons who have no experience or are unfamiliar with the tool,
unless work is supervised or carried out in accordance with power
tool use instructions handed over by persons responsible for safety.
Pay attention to children, the tool must be protected so they cannot
play with it.
• When using the hedge and grass trimmer always wear glasses and
stable shoes.
• Remember that the tool head rotates for some time after the tool is
switched off.
• Do not make this tool accessible to children or leave it unattended.
Store unused tool in a safe place, beyond reach of children.
• Do not store the power tool in rain or in damp environment.
• Use the power tool only in daylight or in well illuminated places.
• Do not use the trimmer close to other persons or domestic animals.
• Persons in proximity should keep safe distance from working range
of the power tool. Make sure to keep safe distance between blade tip
and power lines no less than 15 m.
• Make sure that no foreign objects get between the blades during
operation. When an objects jams between blades, immediately switch
the tool off and remove the object that hinders operation. Never
touch moving blades.
• Switch off the tool before maintenance or cleaning.
• Never hold the trimmer by blade working part, there is possibility of
injuries even when the trimmer is off.
• Always wear safety gloves when using the tool and during
maintenance works.
• Stay very alert when operating the tool and make sure that fingers of
your free hand (which you use to hold or move branches) do not get
into blade cutting range.
• Keep firm body position when working with the trimmer, especially
when using platform or ladder.
• Carefully check condition of cutting parts before each use. Do it with
the power tool off.
• Be careful when handling blades to avoid unnecessary cuts. Put shield
on cutting blades for transport and storage.
• Before switching the trimmer on make sure that hands and feet are
safely away from cutting blades.
• Each time ensure the tool guards and other protection elements are
fully operable and properly fixed.
Safety instructions for working with hedge and grass trimmer
• Keep all body parts away from the blade. Do not attempt to move
processed material or hold it close to working blade. Remove
jammed material only when the tool is switched off. A moment
of inattention when using the hedge and grass trimmer may cause
serious injuries.
• Keep electric tool by insulated surfaces on the handle, because
the blade may get in contact with the power cord. When the blade
touches live wire, voltage my appear on metal parts and cause electric
shock.
• With non-working blade hold the hedge and grass trimmer by its
handle. In transport or storage always put on the protection cover
on blades. Careful tool handling reduces risk of injuries resulting from
contact with blade.
Safety instructions for battery
• Protect the battery against high temperature, e.g. direct sunlight,
fire, water and humidity. There is a risk of explosion.
• In case of battery damage and improper use it may produce
gas. Ventilate room and seek medical attention in case of medical
symptoms. Gas can damage respiratory tract.
• Improper operation conditions may lead to battery electrolyte leak,
avoid contact with the substance. In case of accidental contact flush
it with water. In case of contact with eyes, additionally seek medical
attention. Leaked electrolyte may cause eye irritation or burns.
• Do not dismantle the battery – there is a risk of short circuiting.
• Do not use power tool battery in rain.
Safety instructions for battery charger
• Do not expose the charger to humidity or water. Ingress of water
into the charger increases risk of electric shock. Use the charger only
in dry rooms.
• Disconnect the charger from power supply before starting any
maintenance or cleaning.
• Do not use charger when placed on flammable surface (e.g. paper,
textiles) or in proximity of flammable substance. Greater charger
temperature when charging increases risk of fire.
• Check condition of charger, cable and plug before each use. Do
not use the charger if any damage is found. Do not try to dismantle
the charger. All repairs should be made by an authorized service
workshop. Improper charger assembly may cause electric shock or
fire.
• Children and persons who are physically, emotionally or mentally
disabled and other persons, whose experience or knowledge
is insufficient to use the charger while following all safety rules
should not use the charger without supervision of person
responsible for their safety. Otherwise there is a risk of improper use
and injuries in consequence.
• When the charger is not in use, it should be disconnected from
the power network.
CAUTION!
The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and
additional safety systems are used, nevertheless there is always a
small risk of injuries at work.
Li-Ion batteries may leak, set on fire or explode when heated to high
temperature or short-circuited. Do not store the batteries in a car
in hot and sunny days. Do not open the battery. Li-Ion batteries
contain electronic protection devices that, if damaged, may cause
fire or explosion of the battery.

CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Cordless hedge and grass trimmer is powered from integrated Li-Ion
battery. Drive consists of a DC commutator motor with permanent
magnets and gear. Tool operates with replaceable blades designed for
use on grass and green plants or hedge and bushes.
Such power tool has variety of uses in home garden. One of its
applications is cultivation of bushes by cutting and shaping with hedge
blade. Trimmer is also an addition to lawn mower functions. Trimmer
with grass blade can reach places inaccessible to bigger garden tools,
e.g. when working near corners or close to trees and bushes.
Use the power tool according to the manufacturer's instructions
only.
