DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
• This power tool is not intended for use by persons with restricted
physical, sensory or mental capabilities (including children) or
persons who have no experience or are unfamiliar with the tool,
unless work is supervised or carried out in accordance with power tool
use instructions handed over by persons responsible for safety. Pay
attention to children so they don't play with the power tool.
• Wear protective glasses and protective gloves when working with the
power tool.
• Do not make this device accessible to children or leave it unattended.
Store unused tool in a safe place, beyond reach of children.
• Do not use or charge power tool battery in rain.
• Do not store the power tool in rain or in damp environment.
• Use the power tool only in daylight or in well illuminated places.
• Persons in proximity should keep safe distance from working range
of the power tool. Make sure to keep safe distance between blade tip
and power lines, no less than 15 m.
• Make sure that no foreign objects get between the blades during
operation. When an objects jams between blades, immediately
switch the tool off (switch in OFF position) and remove the object that
hinders operation.
• Make sure not to cut mains supply cords that are away of view.
• Use your free hand to keep them in safe distance from the tool working
range. Do not touch the blades. They are sharp and may cause injuries.
• Stay very alert when operating the tool and make sure that fingers of
your free hand (which you use to hold or move branches) do not get
into blade cutting range.
• Do not use excessive force when working with the tool. It can result in
slipping and cutting skin or an object unintentionally.
• Carefully check condition of blade before each use. Do it with the
power tool off.
• Be careful when handling blades to avoid injuries or cuts. Put shield on
cutting blade for transport and storage.
• Switch off the power tool (slide the switch to OFF position) after work
and before checking or maintenance.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR BATTERY
• Protect the battery against high temperature, e.g. direct sunlight,
fire, water and humidity. There is a risk of explosion.
• In case of battery damage and improper use it may produce
gas. Ventilate room and seek medical attention in case of medical
symptoms. Gas can damage respiratory tract.
• Improper operation conditions may lead to battery electrolyte leak,
avoid contact with the substance. In case of accidental contact flush
it with water. In case of contact with eyes, additionally seek medical
attention. Leaked electrolyte may cause eye irritation or burns.
• Do not dismantle the battery – there is a risk of short circuiting.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR BATTERY CHARGER
• Do not expose the charger to humidity or water. Ingress of water
into the charger increases risk of electric shock.
• Disconnect the charger from power supply before starting any
maintenance or cleaning.
• Do not use charger when placed on flammable surface (e.g. paper,
textiles) or in proximity of flammable substance. Greater charger
temperature when charging increases risk of fire.
• Check condition of charger, cable and plug before each use. Do
not use the charger if any damage is found. Do not try to dismantle
the charger. All repairs should be made by an authorized service
workshop. Improper charger assembly may cause electric shock or
fire.
• Children and persons who are physically, emotionally or mentally
disabled and other persons, whose experience or knowledge
is insufficient to use the charger while following all safety rules
should not use the charger without supervision of person
responsible for their safety. Otherwise there is a risk of improper use
and injuries in consequence.
CAUTION!
The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and
additional safety systems are used, nevertheless there is always a
small risk of injuries at work.
Li-Ion batteries may leak, set on fire or explode when heated to high
temperature or short-circuited. Do not store the batteries in a car
in hot and sunny days. Do not open the battery. Li-Ion batteries
contain electronic protection devices that, if damaged, may cause
fire or explosion of the battery.

CONSTRUCTION AND USE
The cordless pruning shears are supplied from internal Li-Ion battery.
Drive consists of a DC commutator motor with permanent magnets and
gear. The device working tool is moving cutting blade that operates with
fixed anvil blade. The device features double lock that protects against
unintentional activation.
This type of power tool can be used in garden tasks, at maintenance
cutting of branches in trees and bushes. Cordless pruning shears can be
used in place of garden hand pruner. It can be operated without causing
user fatigue.
Use the power tool according to the manufacturer's instructions
only.
