Disassembly

1 Remove the reed, ligature, and mouthpiece from the
barrel. Gently dry your reed with a clean cloth and place
it in a reed holder to prolong its life. Carefully place your
mouthpiece in the case.
2 Remove the barrel from the upper joint. Carefully place it
in the case.
Disconnect the upper and lower joints while depressing

the top joint keys. This will allow the lower bridge key to
slide out from under the top bridge key without damaging
them. Carefully place the upper joint in the case.
Remove the bell from the lower joint. Carefully place

both in the case.
