FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Please Note! The four M10x1.25x45 bolts have a finer thread gauge than
the other bolts. Consequently, do not use any other bolts at the bumper
fastening points B and K.
1. Open the boot, remove the floor covering and loosen the upholstery on
both the left and right side up to the speakers. Remove the upholstery
from the bulkhead as well as from the metal frames both left and right.
Remove the left and right bumper bracket bolts (2x2) in the floor of the
boot. Detach the rubber mounts from the three rear mounting points.
2. Place back plates A with spacers C on the vehicle floor as shown in the
sketch, taking account of holes B and K, see the sketch. The holes B
and K should correspond with the threaded holes in the bumper brack-
ets. Remove the silencer sheet from the contact area of the backplates
A and I.
3. Fasten back plates A using four M10x1.25x45 bolts (fine thread) at
points B and K. The back plates will serve as a drilling template. Drill the
¢11mm holes D and E through the vehicle floor. Fit the tow bar and back
plate F underneath the vehicle. Fasten back plates A and F using two
M10x30 bolts at points D and two M10x45 bolts with spring washers and
nuts at points E. Drill holes G and H ø11mm through the vehicle floor
from underneath. Remove the tow bar and the back plates from the boot
and file down the burrs on the edges of the drilled holes. Remove drill
chips and sealant from the boot. Treat the drilled and filed surfaces with
a rust inhibitor to prevent the vehicle floor from corrosion.

shown in fig.1. Drill the ¢5mm holes indicated by arrows in the chassis.
Attach the assembly using six ¢4.8x10mm rivets.
5. Tighten the bolts fitted so far to the values shown in the table. Refit the
items removed in step 1. The ball hitch is attached to the tow bar using

washers and self-locking nuts. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the values
shown in the table.
