INSTALLING FRONT AND
REAR DERAILLEURS
Make sure that the thread of the back
derailleur is clean.
This frame is designed to be fitted with a
front «braze on» type derailleur.
Follow the manufacturer's assembly,
adjustment and maintenance instructions.
WARNING: The position of the derailleur
sheaths is inverted: the input to the right
sheath (front derailleur) is at the left of the
steering bushing, and the left sheath (front
derailleur) is at the right: take account of
this inversion when cutting the sheaths
so that they are long enough to enable a
sufficient rotation amplitude and normal
freedom of handlebar movements.
INSTALLING THE WHEELS
Follow the manufacturer's assembly instruc-
tions.
Our fork ends are designed with safety pins.
Before riding your cycle, always make sure
that the wheels are firmly fixed by the quick
release mechanism.

MAINTENANCE
Always clean your frame with soap or light
detergent and water.
Use a soft cloth. Rinse your frame with water
and dry it with a cloth.
Do not use a high pressure cleaning
apparatus or abrasive products.
Use a car bodywork product to eliminate tar
stains.
AFTER SALES SERVICE
Despite all the care taken in manufacturing,
if a defect occurs or a repair is necessary,
always contact your dealer taking the frame
or the fork and the guarantee card.
GUARANTEE
Our frames and forks are guaranteed
against any vice or manufacturing defect
for five years from the date of purchase.
Paint, decoration, varnish and everything
concerning the finish are guaranteed for
one year.
There are two ways to make your guarantee
valid:
1) Register on our website (www.lookcycle.
com).
2) Fill out the two attached registration
cards. One must be completed by the dealer,
and one must be filled out by the consumer
and returned postage paid to LOOK CYCLE
INTERNATIONAL, solely authorized
validate the guarantee notice.
This guarantee remains limited to the
initial purchaser and a proof of purchase is
required (original invoice).

faster at www.lookcycle.com
The guarantee applies to frames for all manu-
facturing defects.
The guarantee is only applicable if the frame
is assembled in accordance with the above
instructions.
The guarantee is not applicable to defects
caused by poor maintenance, accidents, or
incorrect use.
Similarly, the guarantee is null and void if the
user has made any technical modifications to
the frame or if the frame or the fork has been
repaired, repainted anywhere other than in a
LOOK approved repair center.
In particular, do not remove the safety pins
from the fork tabs.
The guarantee does not cover the following
cases:
* defects caused by negligence or insuffi-
cient maintenance
* accidents
* accessory and indirect damages
Frame assembly and disassembly costs, la-
bor time and packaging and shipment costs
of the frame are not guaranteed.
Do not drill, paint, strip, or revarnish
(clearcoat) the frame or fork.

CAUTION:
Always inspect your cycle before using
it.
If the tubes of your LOOK frame or your
fork have been damaged in any way
whatsoever, take your bicycle to your
LOOK dealer for inspection.
Become familiar with the laws in force
in the country in which you are cycling
at night. Reflectors are not sufficient
and do not replace lighting.
Always wear a helmet.
Become familiar with the highway code
and respect it.
Exercise caution with road and traffic
dangers.
