USEFUL CLEANING TIPS
Cleaning grout:
clean with the grout cleaning lance and round brush. Use maximum steam.
Smooth windows:
Clean the window by enabling the two steam/vacuum functions at the same time. Slightly tilt the
accessory and slide it on the window from top to bottom with a light pressure and the steam
output on minimum or medium based on the desired amount of cleanliness. If smears appear
pass over again with just the vacuum function (dry the rubber after each stroke).
Rough windows:
clean with the multi-purpose brush covered with the specific cloth. Medium steam output, drying is
not necessary
Floors in ceramic, tiles in general and coverings, non delicate surfaces
Vacuum / vacuum + steam: set up the vac-steam in vacuum mode, insert the extension pipes in
the hose with the multi-purpose brush with the adapter insert for floors, minimum or medium
vacuum power. With the addition of steam use the multi-purpose brush to clean adjusting the
steam in medium or maximum position based on the amount of dirt. The adapter for floors (11C)
needs to be mounted on the brush, then pass over again vacuuming at maximum power. For daily
cleaning just pass over the surfaces with minimum steam and medium vacuum
Marble-Parquet-linoleum- Terracotta:
Be careful, since these are delicate surfaces use utmost care, perform tests in hidden corners
before to make sure that the surfaces do not get damaged (removal of paint, etc.) clean with the
multi-purpose brush setting steam in the minimum position. The adapter for floors (11C) needs to
be mounted on the brush with the addition of the cloth (11D).
Rugs and Carpets:
After vacuuming them, clean with cross strokes using the brush for upholstery with the adapter
mounted and covered with the specific cloth. Use medium steam. To dry pass over with maximum
power vacuum.
Deep cleaning of terracotta floors treated with wax:
to remove the wax use the multi-purpose brush with maximum stem output.
Then vacuum at maximum power to absorb the removed dirt (tile by tile).
Sanitary fixtures:
clean with the short or long lance with the round nylon brush mounted. Use maximum steam.
Radiators:
clean with the long lance from top to bottom. Maximum steam output.
Roller shutters and shutters/Venetian blinds
Pass along the joints of the slats and in the corners with the grout lance activating minimum steam
and medium vacuum, then clean the surfaces with the multi-purpose brush with the adapter
covered with cloth mounted. Minimum or medium steam output.
Appliances:
slicing machines, blenders, etc. Place them on a piece of flat terry cloth; use the short lance with
round brush (if necessary) from top to bottom and from inside to outside. Medium steam output.
Sofas and armchairs:
Vacuum the surface with the brush for upholstery with maximum vacuum power, then mount the
special adapter (6) on the brush, cover the brush with the specific cloth and pass over barely
